During this full-day experience, discover the secrets of four of the most famous Italian products in the world.

You will have a guided visit to a cheese factory and learn how aged Parmigiano Reggiano cheese is produced. Tasting at the end.

You will visit “Acetaia” and discover the production of the famous “black gold”, the precious traditional balsamic vinegar of Modena, which you will be able to taste at the end of your guided tour. We will have a light lunch in a picturesque estate situated among the gentle hills of the Modena area (no main course).

You will visit a local winery and take a guided tour of the facilities to learn about Lambrusco, a sparkling wine from northern Italy.

We will head to the picturesque hills of Langhirano, home to Prosciutto di Parma. The tour begins with a brief history of production, followed by a visit to the 'cold zone', where fresh meat is processed, learn how the best meat is chosen, and see the salting machinery and chilling/resting rooms. Tasting at the end.

      • The pickup will be from your hotel or the nearest point, when it is not possible to reach the place you stay in by car. The exact pickup time will be communicated after the tour confirmation.
      • All the visits and tastings will be held by the local hosts, no private guide is included.
      • Please let us know about any food allergy or intolerance in advance, it could be not possible to satisfy last-minute requests.
      • Please note that if you arrive by train, please contact us before booking your train, as we could advise on the best suitable arrival time. It could take 15 to 20 minutes to exit the underground train station where most of the high speed trains arrive. It means that you should arrive in Bologna no later  than 08:30 am for the pickup at 08:50 am (tour starting time - 09:00 am).
